What this is, what it never does, and who is behind it. Facts, not a manifesto.

Why it exists

Cross-border property buyers commit large, hard-to-reverse sums on claims they cannot test from where they sit. Qarain exists to examine those claims before the money moves, and to say plainly what could and could not be established.

What we do

  • Examine one property decision at a time, on request and paid by the buyer.
  • Trace each claim to its source and grade that source on a published ladder.
  • Record what no source supports as an explicit gap.
  • End every examination in one of three postures: Verify, Investigate, or Hold.
  • Have a human review every artifact before it reaches you.

What we never do

  • Take money from sellers, developers, brokers, or portals.
  • Say buy or don’t buy, rank projects, or issue guarantees.
  • Give legal or financial advice.
  • Sell or share your contact details.

Who built it

Qarain was built by its founder, who also leads product research and reviews every artifact before delivery. Details and disclosures are on the people page.

How the method developed

  • A pattern observed: buyers losing deposits to claims no one had tested.
  • A method formed: claim, source, evidence, missingness, with a fixed source ladder.
  • An evidence corpus built for Oman, the first market deep enough to carry casework.
  • Current scope: Oman casework live; UAE and Turkey in preparation.

What is live today
