What we take
Fixed fees from buyers, published on each instrument before work starts.
That is the entire revenue of Qarain. There is no other stream.
What we never take
- Commissions on any transaction.
- Money from developers or sellers, in any form.
- Money from brokers, agents, or portals.
- Sponsorships or advertising from anyone we could ever examine.
- Referral fees, in either direction.
- Payment for leads. Your contact details are not a product.
- Equity or interest in any project we examine.
Why this is the whole product
In a 2019 Redfin survey of about a thousand buyers, 61 percent of those who had only ever bought were not certain how their own agent was paid.
The person guiding the largest purchase of a life is routinely paid by the other side of it. Advice priced that way loses its neutrality, whoever gives it.
We removed the question instead of answering it. When the buyer is the only payer, the findings have no one else to please.
The pledge
Qarain is paid only by the buyer, or by someone who genuinely represents the buyer and no one else.
Any examination funded by the supply side is immediately void, and the fee returns to the buyer.
We would rather answer fewer questions than owe anyone an answer.
